Six steps to renting your home
At Eastleigh Borough Council, we believe in being clear and upfront. Here are the six steps to renting a home from us:
- Join our housing register.
- Use our choice-based lettings scheme to find a home you like.
- Bid for the home you’re interested in.
- If you’re shortlisted, we will need to ensure the home is right for you. This means checking your finances and making sure you’re a good fit for the community. It’s just to make sure everything matches well. If all goes well, we’ll offer you the property.
- You’ll get the chance to see the property. We can arrange a viewing at a time that suits you, and you can even bring a friend or family member along for their opinion. Feel free to ask any questions during the viewing to ensure the property meets your needs.
- Then you can decide if it’s the right home for you.
