Renting an affordable home
Our affordable homes have lower rents than you’d pay for renting privately and are available to those that meet the eligibility criteria and are registered with the council.

How it works
If you would like to be considered for one of our affordable homes, you will need to register on Hampshire Home Choice. Providing you are eligible and meet the qualifying criteria, you will be able to bid for our properties.
If you are shortlisted, we will need to ensure the home is right for you. This means checking your finances and making sure you’re a good fit for the community. If all goes well, we’ll offer you the property.
You’ll get the chance to see the property before you make a decision. We can arrange a viewing at a time that suits you. Feel free to ask any questions during the viewing to ensure the property meets your needs.
