Fresh CGI visuals reveal a closer look at Airey Place
Airey Place is eastbrooke homes’ first development made up entirely of affordable homes.
Located on Queens View in Netley, the scheme will deliver 18 one- and two-bedroom apartments, all of which will be available for social rent through the local housing register.
Location
Airey Place enjoys a prime position just a 10-minute walk from the beach, overlooking the Solent, and a 15-minute stroll from the historic Netley Abbey. Netley train station, also approximately 15 minutes away, offers direct routes to Southampton, Portsmouth, and Southsea. The development is situated close to Netley Recreation Ground, with Royal Victoria Country Park just a mile away, offering residents easy access to green spaces and leisure activities.
Progress and Delivery
Construction began in spring 2025, with completion scheduled for winter 2026. The project is being built by Amiri Construction Ltd.
Alongside the new homes, the development will feature a ground-floor retail unit, perfect for a local convenience shop, together with vehicle and cycle parking and landscaped communal areas.
Built for the Future
Sustainability is at the heart of Airey Place. The apartments are designed to meet the Future Homes Standard (2025) and will feature solar panels, air-source heat pumps, and electric vehicle charging points. The site itself utilises previously developed (brownfield) land, further supporting sustainable growth.
How to Apply
All properties at Airey Place will be allocated through Hampshire Home Choice to those on the housing register. To find out more and register interest, visit: www.hampshirehomechoice.org.uk
