Explore the creation of 10 wildlife wood carvings by our commissioned artist Chris Bain, which are beginning to appear at points around the One Horton Heath site.
Visitors to the One Horton Heath site may catch a glimpse of one of 10 new wood carvings commissioned by the project.
Walkers making use of public rights of way around the One Horton Heath site may be treated to a sighting of one of 10 new wood carvings currently being crafted by Hampshire-based sculptor Chris Bain.
The carvings have been commissioned by One Horton Heath to provide visitors with points of interest and celebrate some of the animal populations being protected and nurtured throughout the development and beyond. The sculptures will depict a range of creatures and critters native to the One Horton Heath site, including an owl, a calf, an otter, hedgehogs and more. The creations have been designed to feature nooks and crannies to accomodate bugs and small creatures, and some will also feature a ‘perch’ that walkers can use to catch a spot of rest.
