Eastleigh is a historic railway town in Hampshire, is ideally situated between Winchester to the north and Southampton to the south. Known for its vibrant community spirit, Eastleigh offers a wide range of facilities and amenities. The town centre features two main shopping streets, lined with a variety of shops, hairdressers, barbers, cafés and restaurants. The Swan Centre, a mid-sized shopping complex, provides additional retail options along with a Vue cinema, Hollywood Bowl, and an Anytime Fitness gym.

At the top of the town centre, the park hosts numerous community events throughout the year, making it a lively gathering place for residents and visitors alike. Adjacent to the park is The Point Theatre, which showcases a variety of performances including plays, musicals, charity events, and comedy nights showcasing both local and national talent.
For sports enthusiasts, The Hub sports pavilion at Bishopstoke Road Playing Fields serves as the home ground for Eastleigh’s football and rugby clubs. Further grounds on Wide Lane offer both grass and artificial pitches. Additional facilities can be found at Places Leisure, which includes two swimming pools, a gym, all-weather football pitches, and tennis and squash courts.

Families can enjoy the miniature steam railway at Lakeside, a tribute to Eastleigh’s railway heritage and a beloved attraction for all. Just southeast of town, Itchen Valley Country Park offers even more trails and outdoor activities, including an upgraded Go Ape adventure course – now taller and more challenging for those looking for an extra thrill!
